Founding of the association / Organization
The Tierhilfe-Test was founded in 1997 to provide a safe haven for animals in need.
We came together based on the belief that every animal has the right to a better life - regardless of their origin or condition.
Since our inception, we have helped many animals find new families and recover from the past.

Our Tasks
Our tasks are varied and go far beyond simple animal care.
Our main tasks include:
Animal welfare and placement
We take in animals in need and place them in loving and responsible hands.
We pay particular attention to the individual needs of each animal.
Rehabilitation and care
Many animals come to us because they are injured, ill or traumatized.
We take care of their medical treatment and help them to regain their former zest for life.
Education and prevention
We actively campaign for animal welfare issues and offer information events to raise awareness of our responsibility towards animals.
This also includes promoting neutering and responsible pet ownership.
Partnerships and cooperation
We work closely with other animal welfare organizations, veterinarians and local authorities to provide the best possible help for animals.
