Go for a walk with dogs
You don't want or can't keep a dog of your own, but still enjoy being around dogs. Our dogs are happy for people to pick them up regularly and take them for a walk. You will see how enthusiastically you are greeted once the dogs have got to know you.
Play with cats
Our cats love people who spend time with them. Some are very trusting and let themselves be stroked immediately, others watch them from a distance to see who is visiting them.
Clean and tidy rooms in the shelter
We have permanent employees who feed the animals, tidy and clean the rooms. We are very grateful for the volunteers who support us and relieve our employees.
Taking animals to the airport
Animals that are rehomed to Germany are often accompanied on their journey by flight sponsors. We then occasionally need volunteers to take the animals to the airport and hand them over to the flight sponsors.
