We take in animals that are in need - whether because their owners are overwhelmed, their living conditions are poor or they are in other difficult situations.
Every animal gets the help it needs from us.
We feed our animals
A balanced diet is crucial for the health of our animals.
We make sure that each animal regularly receives high-quality food that meets its needs and helps it to recover quickly.
We have the animals treated by a vet
We monitor the animals' behavior and health on a daily basis.
Our animals are thoroughly examined and given medical care by experienced vets.
Whether vaccinations, operations or simply a regular check-up - we make sure that every animal receives the necessary treatment.
Each animal is chipped and receives a pet passport.
We take the dogs for a walk
Walks are not only important for the physical health of our dogs, but also for their well-being and social development.
Our volunteers take the dogs for regular walks so that they can get some fresh air, let off steam and have positive experiences with people.
We maintain the animal shelter's facilities
We clean the rooms in the shelter and the outside area every day so that the animals feel comfortable and no diseases can spread.
If necessary, we carry out repairs or renovations.
In summer when it is very hot and on cool winter days, we ensure a pleasant indoor climate (heating/cooling).
We place animals
Our aim is to place the animals in a loving home that is right for them.
Prior to placement, we conduct detailed interviews with the adopters to ensure that it will be a long-term, happy relationship.
We bring animals to Germany
Some of the animals we rescue are adopted by visitors from Germany.
We make sure that these animals are brought safely to Germany so that they can have a better future there.
